In partnership with Dublin City University's (DCU) Institute of Education and with
the support of trusted event partners, the ComplianceLnD Bootcamp Ireland 2026 takes place on 2nd September 2026 in DCU’s historic St. Patrick’s Campus.
This one-day in-person event offers an intensive programme of cross-sectoral professional education and continuous professional development.
The programme's unique structure brings together participants and speakers from a wide range of backgrounds and sectors that include corporates, banking, insurance, brokers, credit unions, FinTechs.
Highly engaging panels featuring seasoned industry experts, law enforcement and regulators will explore universally relevant risks, issues and best practices for the smallest to largest of firms across all sectors.

09.00 - 10.00 - Embedding Ethical Decision-Making into Everyday Business Practice
Throughout every aspect of a business, decisions are made and risks are taken by all employees and senior management. This panel will explore ethical decision-making from
tone at the top to tone at the tills. It will examine the practical purpose and value of business ethics for firms, employees, customers and other stakeholders, the drivers and
influences that shape individual and corporate behaviour, and the evolving role of
business ethics in a world of increasing laws, rules, and regulations.
10.20 - 11.20 - Navigating the Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
It is unclear what the rapid rise of AI will ultimately mean for individuals, organisations, and society. This panel will examine the evolving AI landscape, the potential risks and
rewards and why and how employees and businesses may be using, not using, and
misusing AI technologies. It will also explore what the responsible use of AI in business may look like and how this can be practically achieved.
11.30 - 12.30 - Tackling Human Vulnerabilities in Fraud & Cybersecurity
Technology systems and controls provide firms and their employees with critical
protection against fraud and cyber-attacks. This panel will explore how and why such
attacks seek to exploit human vulnerabilities. It will explore common tactics, techniques the increasing sophistication of attacks, and the psychology of the attackers and their
targets. It will also share practical insights into what firms and their employees can do to reduce the risk of attack and be better prepared to identify, prevent, and respond when they happen.

13.30 – 14.30 - Understanding Evolving Data Privacy Responsibilities
All businesses must ensure appropriate use of customer personal data in their products and services. This panel focuses on understanding and navigating the key principles
rather than the letter of GDPR in front line business practices. It will explore insights
from customer rights and complaints, regulatory breaches and emerging technology, to
support all firms and their employees in navigating the common pitfalls and challenges.
14.40 – 15.40 - AML Practice Beyond Regulatory Requirements
For firms and employees throughout Ireland, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) starts with
but does not finish with the specific AML legal and regulatory requirements. This panel looks beyond such requirements to examine what AML looks like in practice for the
smallest to largest of firms across all sectors. It will provide valuable cross-sectoral
insights into navigating real-world AML through established best practices and standards and understanding legal and regulatory expectations beyond the rulebooks.
15.50 – 16.50 - Sectoral Specific Workshops - What’s Behind and What’s Ahead?
All participants will be divided into sectoral specific breakout workshops. Leveraging the
earlier panel discussions, participants will take part in facilitated discussions on the practical adoption and key challenges of recent legal and regulatory developments for their sector. The workshops will also examine related upstream risks and emerging threats offering practical insights and takeaways for all firms and employees.
